PRiSM strikes again!
You may already know, our first campaign did not reach its goal in the allotted time. The key difficulty was our high financial goal because of minimum production level of 500 watches.
Today we return stronger, with an economic goal revised downward and some small changes:
The funding target has been lowered from CHF 120'000 to CHF 48'000, which we have already achieved (and even exceeded) as our previous campaign reached 55'621 CHF
Consequently, production has been reduced from 500 to 250 watches.Our watches will be a lot more exclusive because of the limited series and the truth that each of them is numbered individually
A lowered quantity produced inevitably contributes to a slight upsurge in costs. In doing so, we looked for ways to justify this small price increase, so we decided that each of our contributors could be offered an additional watch strap together with his PRiSM watch. These straps will be built with quick release spring bars to go from the main bracelet to secondary right away - PRiSM Watches - Every NEW facet of your personality two styles for the price of one!
How it all started
Since it is usually the case, all of it started around a few drinks and two long-time friends discussing their common passion: the planet of horology.
The rest of the evening remains a little unclear but what stuck was the motivation to launch our personal brand. It was following a contribution to a watchmaking project on a crowdfunding platform that the theory sprang up in our minds.
We then asked ourselves: why don't you us, too?
We're fortunate enough to reside in a period where launching entrepreneurial projects does not require the maximum amount of financial investment because it did before, an occasion where we've a wide array of options and solutions to have where we want to be.
The concept
We spent my youth in the united states of watchmaking. Traditional values and know-how are embedded in us. Ambitious, very influenced by urban trends, we started to draw the sketches of a watch that will define us.
Being Swiss, there is no room for error on the quality. Passionate in regards to the watchmaking domain, our first step was to surround ourselves most abundant in qualified people in the field. We'd the chance to run into open professionals that believed in our project and today, they are people that individuals call friends.
